Are you Skipping the Scene that Makes the Story?

Hey friends! So, a couple of weeks ago I went to a youth event at my church. Let me tell you, I had an amazing time! A lack of sleep, but hey that only made it better! One of the sessions we had , the very first, really stuck with me and I wanted to share with you all what I got out of it. ( I would tell you the name of the speaker, but ya know, safety reasons!)

Now back to the title; Are you skipping the scenes that makes the story?
When there is a wall in front of me, my natural instinct is to take the easy way; not face it head on with a sledgehammer. But what if those walls we try to get out of destroying head on was a scene God could of used to make a difference in someone else's life? I don't know about you, but that's a pretty big reason of why we should start facing our walls of opposition head on. So, how do we overcome trying to skip the scenes that matter the most to God? Well, for starters we can't face our walls in the distance. No, we have to face them head on.  That's a scary thought, but we don't have to be afraid; God has us! As long as we have people we know will have our back and God , we can face any wall that comes in our path. 2 Timothy 1:7 says

'For God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control.'

Imagine: You could be THE ONLY ONE to lead someone to Christ, but your too busy skipping the scenes that could make that happen. The ones that matter the most to God.

Next time your faced with a wall of opposition, face it head on with a sledgehammer.

I hope you guys liked this post! If you did it would mean the world to me if you would comment and follow us!
